Why? Camano is a special place and we've got to work to protect it.
To benefit C.A.R.E.'s mission to
protect our water, promote responsible land use, encourage good
stewardship, and promote the integrity of our natural habitats. C.A.R.E. seeks
to preserve the rural character of Camano Island, so that natural
landscapes, vegetation and wildlife predominate over the built
environment, to protect our sole source aquifer, and to enhance
shoreline habitat for salmon, fish, orcas, grey whales, herons, shorebirds, shellfish and all life that relies upon healthy estuaries and waters of the Salish Sea. Major Event Sponsor: Angel of the Winds
